The Azzaro brand was established in 1968 by Tunisian-born Sicilian designer Loris Azzaro, quickly gaining a reputation for glamour and sexiness. The brand expanded its offering to include fragrances with the introduction of their first scent, "Azzaro For Women," in 1975. This timeless scent is best described as a floral woody musk that captures the essence of Mediterranean luxury. It features top notes of bergamot, orange blossom, and neroli; middle notes of tuberose, jasmine, ylang-ylang and rose; and base notes of sandalwood, cedarwood, ambergris musk and vanilla – providing a sensual foundation perfect for everyday wear.

In 1978 another iconic fragrance made its debut: Azzaro pour Homme – the perfect blend for any modern man.
