The Rossmax Anti-Decubitus Air Bubble Type Mattress assists bed ridden patients by relieving pressure on the body, which results in increased comfort for an individual suffering from (or at risk of developing) pressure ulcers/ sores. The mattress provides high levels of support for the head and body to relieve any mounting stress on pressure points. The Rossmax bubble mattress has been carefully designed with air pockets specifically designed to place less pressure on the main pressure points in the body.
The mattress relieves pressure by deflating and inflating alternate air cells on approximately 6 minutes timed intervals. It is intended to help and reduce the incidence of pressure ulcers while optimizing patient comfort. This mattress is ideal for long term care of patients suffering from pressure ulcers. The bubble-type is recommended for stage 1 and 2 pressure ulcers, and can be used on a hospital or home mattress. The 2 to 1 alternating inflation method is inflating half of the cells and deflating the other half.
Features include:
Bubble mattress 200x60x7cm
2 to 1 alternating therapy
Adjustable hangers for most bed types
Durable medical grade PVC
Extension flags for stabilization
High quality pump
Weight indicator pressure adjustment setting
6 minutes cycling time
Near silent low noise
For prevention and treatment of patients at low risk of pressure ulcers
2. Using the integrated hangers, securely hang the pump on the bed end at the foot end or place on a smooth flat surface.
3. Connect the air hoses from the mattress to the pump unit. Note: Check and ensure the air horses are not kinked or tucked under mattress.
4. Plug the pump into a wall electrical outlet. Be sure the power cord is safely away from possible hazards.
5. Turn on the power switch on the control panel of the pump. The pump will begin to inflate the mattress.
6. While inflation, adjust the pressure setting based upon patient comfort level by turning the pressure adjustment knob clockwise to increase firmness. Note: Every time the mattress is set up for use, it is recommended that the pressure first to be set to max, and then adjust air mattress weight levels to the desired softness after set up has been completed.
