Superfood Rolled Oats Bowls

 

Whether you’re craving sweet or savoury, these high-protein oats are the perfect base for a nourishing, satisfying bowl. Made with your protein powder of choice and customisable toppings, it’s a powerhouse start to the day.

What you'll need

l  1 1/2 cups Lifestyle Food Rolled Oats

l  1/3 cup protein powder of choice (soy isolate or whey)

l  1 cup water

l  1 cup milk of choice (plus extra to serve)

l  Pinch of salt

Sweet toppings

l  Strawberries, sliced

l  Protein chocolate milk (milk blended with protein powder + raw cacao)

l  Chocolate chips

l  Nut butter

l  Granola or syrup

Savoury toppings

l  Sliced avocado

l  Roasted baby tomatoes (roasted in olive oil, garlic powder, soy sauce)

l  Soy sauce

l  Sesame seeds

l  Seaweed sprinkles

l  Chilli oil

How to make it

1.     In a saucepan, combine oats, water, milk, protein powder, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a simmer and cook until the oats are soft and creamy.

2.     For the savoury version, roast the baby tomatoes in olive oil, garlic powder, and soy sauce until soft and jammy.

3. To serve the sweet oats, top with protein chocolate milk, strawberries, chocolate  chips, nut butter, and a sprinkle of granola or drizzle of syrup.

4.     For the savoury oats, top with roasted tomatoes, sliced avocado, sesame seeds, seaweed sprinkles, and a drizzle of chilli oil.
