Pharmaplast Hydrocolloid Dressing

"Suitable for moist wound care to treat light to moderate exuding, non-infected wounds."

 How does it work?

An absorbent hydrocolloid layer, applied on top of a polyurethane film, swells up when in contact with the wound, forming a gel in which the exudate and cell debris are absorbed. Through the process of gel formation, the dressing conforms perfectly to the individual structure of the wound.

Used to treat second degree burns, leg ulcers and chronic slow healing wounds, abrasions and blister treatment. The dressing is bacteria and liquid repellent and allows the patient the convenience of washing or taking a shower.
