Just like all great hair days start with a great story; Curls in Bloom’s story begins in the foothills of the lush-green Amathola Mountains in the Eastern Cape. Here, a small community of proactive farmers at Qobo Qobo passionately tend the land every morning, harvesting rich indigenous essential oils and miracle-working floral waters. Growing sweet-smelling Rose Geranium, herbaceous Cape Chamomile, and woody Wild Rosemary, these farmers take complete control of crop production from planting to harvesting and distilling.

In light of this, the brand is currently running a Curls in Bloom Scholarship to support young black South African women excelling in tertiary education, equipping them with the necessary entrepreneurial spirit to drive change within themselves and their surrounding community.

Exclusively available at selected Dis‑Chem Pharmacies countrywide, Curls in Bloom is not only the first of its kind in how the brand designs, sources and manufactures its products, but is also dedicated to investing in the upliftment of future generations, specifically within youth spaces.
