Cool With Collagen

Collagen is essential for beauty that shines from the inside out. Explore the benefits of this powerful supplement.

WHAT IS COLLAGEN AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

Collagen is a major component of your skin but as you age, your body produces less collagen, leading to dry skin and the formation of wrinkles. Several studies have shown that collagen peptides or supplements containing collagen offer many positive benefits to our bodies. It’s responsible for the bounce in your skin, the strength of your nails, and the vibrance of your hair, not to mention strengthening your joints. Maintaining a high level of collagen in your body by taking collagen supplements, using collagen skin care, and protecting your skin can:

  • Improve skin elasticity and firmness.
  • Decrease wrinkles and fine lines.
  • Improve skin hydration.
  • Improve blood circulation.
  • Heal wounds and prevent scars.
  • Reduce cellulite and stretch marks.
  • Reduce dark spots.

HOW CAN YOU BOOST COLLAGEN PRODUCTION?

Collagen supplements can help raise your collagen with ease for a more youthful- complexion:

Powders: Ideal for morning smoothies and coffee/tea. Add a scoop or two of the powder into your beverage and enjoy. Collagen powders are usually tasteless.

Liquids: Collagen in ready-to-drink form such as purified water, energy drinks, juices, teas, coffee, cold brew, smoothies, shots, and vials. They are digested and absorbed into the bloodstream quicker.

Powdered Peptides: This form of collagen has been hydrolysed meaning it has been broken down into smaller particles for easier digestion and quicker absorption. Can be added to morning coffee, smoothies, and oatmeal.

Capsules: The best option for those who already have a good vitamin routine going, as you will simply pop your collagen with the rest of your pills.
