It is with pride and excitement that Dis-Chem La Lucia Mall recieved in all 4 catagories, the National Retailers Award from the South African Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC).
The Catagories Were :
- Best Team
- Best Customer Service
- Best Price, Brand and Product
- Overall Retailer < 500m FOR 2009
The Past 3 years the store has received awards in one category only, but this year walked away with all the categories.
Store manager, Jacques Van Niekerk, comments that this was a well deserved award and ends the year on a high note. The store has faced many challenges this year with the recession and this award has certainly boosted the moral of the staff and management,.
Once again the store has proven that if you strive to live the Dis-Chem values and the brand everything is possible and achievable.
It leaves you humbled because you realize again that a manager is only as good as the team behind him.
