More lives changed with Dis-Chem and 94.5KFM 

Together with the Dis-Chem Foundation, 94.5 KFM are donating 12 soccer kits valued at R72 000 to different children’s clubs around Cape Town. 

The Dis-Chem Foundation - a beneficiary of Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ Benefits Program - gives Dis-Chem shoppers the opportunity to donate a percentage of the value of their purchase towards worthy causes each time they swipe their membership card at any Dis-Chem pharmacy.

Dis-Chem further adds to the kitty when and where it is needed.  94.5 KFM listeners were asked to show their support for this project by voting on the KFM Mobi site.  With every click, Dis-Chem Foundation released R1. The site received 72 000 clicks, and the Dis-Chem Foundation donated R72 000.Dreamfields an organization that puts together soccer kits and allocates them to needy soccer clubs, identified 12 clubs in Cape Town that were in dire need of soccer kits.

On Saturday, 31 October, 94.5Kfm will be handing over the soccer kits at Ambassador Sports Grounds in Athlone, to the clubs. Around 300 children will participate in games using the equipment provided. Throughout the year 94.5Kfm look for various ways to provide care and support to charities, organizations or groups of individuals in desperate need of help. By partnering with the Dis-Chem Foundation 94.5Kfm are able to make a number of social investments.
